The Water Tower, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, MO

You cannot go to Ha Ha Tonka without viewing the Water Tower or the Castle Ruins. The tower is about 80 feet high and built of sandstone. Patrick made a new friend in the few minutes we were there. He got an owl that was roosting in the top of the tower to hoot and purr. Sitting on the highest point of the escarpment, it has a commanding view of the park, if only they would rebuild the interior and let you inside. Oh, the views would be amazing!
