Mobile Bay, AL

We got to see some pretty interesting things when we took the ferry across Mobile Bay to Dauphin Island. Pelicans skimmed the surface of the water or were just downright lazy like the one below. Freighters moved in or out to the gulf. The oil rig platforms were fascinating and huge! We couldn’t go all the way to the docks along the water, but we got pretty close.
