World Bird Sanctuary of St Louis, Jour de Fete, St Genevieve, MO
We went to a local arts festival in St Genevieve known as Jour de Fete. Great artisans and live music, but what caught our eye was the raptors brought by handlers from the World Bird Sanctuary in St Louis. They were absolutely beautiful! They brought a European Barn Owl, a young Bald Eagle, a Peregrine Falcon, and a lovely black hawk, that forgive me I can’t remember what it was, but he had the most beautiful eyes.
