The waterlilies at the Botanical Gardens, St. Louis, MO.
Monet was the start of my waterlily obsession. I love the way they float on top of a shimmering glass surface, spreading their leaves across the water. For me, Mermaids and Frog Princes always seem to sneak into my mind when I look at them. They evoke serenity and a calm coolness that seeps into your skin. I could sit for a couple of hours (in fact, I did) and stare at their colors or watch the dragonflies flit from one to the other.
